Eddie Baker asked:

The method you use of exercising obviously depends upon your goal. People usually either want to lose weight and tone up or build muscle. But there is a method of exercise that has a place in both of these goals.

The indoor rowing machine is a wonderful invention that in the opinion of many is second only to swimming for an all out body workout and there are many rowing machine reviews available. I’ve known many people in the gym who can run for 30 minutes on a treadmill almost without breaking a sweat but these same people can’t last 10 minutes on a rower. This is because the body mechanism involved with using a rowing machine triggers the whole body to move to reach the goal. The compression and release is similar in effect as the infamous burpee. Google ‘burpee exercise’ to find more information about this form of exercise favoured by prison inmates.

The cardiovascular effect of using a row machine is dramatic to say the least. Your lungs, heart and virtually every muscle fibre in your body is made to work. Correct breathing during the exercise routing is essential and will accelerate the speed at which you burn calories.

Another benefit of using a piece of indoor exercise equipment such as an air rowing machine is the low impact it has on your body. With a treadmill for instance, the pressure placed on the knee and hip joints can be excessive especially without the correct footwear. The row machine on the other hand involves sitting down and the movement is a flowing motion with no jarring of the bones and joints. That is not to say that correct form isn’t important. Using the equipment incorrectly can lead to back and hip problems. Make sure you view some videos that are available on the internet which illustrate the correct way to set up and use a indoor rowing machine.

Many indoor rowing machines are also very easy to store, unlike a treadmill or other type of fitness equipment. The cheaper types are not usually foldable and neither are the high end rowing machines. But if space is limited in your home there are some reasonably priced machines that can be folded away for easy storage although this does tend to promote forgetfulness and the ‘out of sight out of mind’ apathy that is prevalent in society and should be avoided.

Rowing machines vary greatly in price from around $60 at the very low end (not recommended) up to $2000 for a professional piece of fitness equipment. For the beginner I would recommend looking at around the $300 range for a machine that may not have all the bells and whistles of the top models but should be sturdy and well made enough to not cause you an injury and should last you for many years if you look after it. Keep it away from damp conditions and dry off the sweat after use to prevent rusting of any metal parts. Look after your home rowing machine and it will look after you for many years to come and you won’t look back.

Is your company looking for a way that they can really clean up with their promotional items? Are all the other promotional items that you have used fallen short of what you expected them to do? Are you tired of wasting money on promotional items that people are never going to use and they likely throw away the moment they receive it? Then look into using promotional Sponges for your company.

Why promotional Sponges, you ask? Well, let’s take a look at the reasons that companies are turning to promotional Sponges when they are looking for the best promotional item for their company.

Price

Let’s face it – the less you spend on a promotional item, the better. When you spend less on your advertising, that means more money for your company, right? Well, promotional Sponges are something that is very affordable. In fact, they are a type of promotional item that just about any company can afford. There aren’t a lot of promotional items that can say that.

So the first reason that companies are turning to Sponges is that they are something that is low priced and very affordable. Some say that this is the best quality that they have to them.

Useful

People throw out promotional items – every company knows that it’s true. The people are given something that may look cute but they don’t have a use for it and who wants more junk cluttering up their home? But when a company is giving out promotional items like Promotional Sponges, the people who are getting them are going to stop and say, wow this is something I can really use. After all, who couldn’t use another sponge around the house? They can be used to wash dishes, clean up spills, anything.

Variety

How many times have you looked through different types of promotional items only to find that they are all the same? They all look alike, there is nothing that is special to any of them, and they aren’t made for your company except for the fact that your company’s name is printed on them. How are people going to know that you sell houses or that you specialize in pet supplies unless they read the pencil or pen or whatever else you give them?

But Sponges are different. Do you know why? They come in all different shapes and that means that your company can choose the promotional Sponges that are going to fit the company the best.

Portable

You know how much a pain it is to lug big, bulky promotional items around. But you have to take your promotional items with you to give out to people. But that is one of the great things about promotional Sponges. They are small, flat, lightweight and easy to carry around.

As you can see, there are lots of great reasons to use promotional Sponges to promote your business. When you are using promotional Sponges, you will find that you are really soaking up the profits.

Have you ever wondered why Tiger Woods is so good in his game? How can he be consistent every time he plays? What are the critical things he do that others fail to do that make him a celebrity and star in the golfing arena? Does he come up with his own secret strategies and use them without sharing so that he can win easily?

The reason why I am asking is because those are the commonly asked questions by the media. They give different conclusions as in his supernatural power drives over most golfers’ limit, possessing an unbreakable muscle power of a bull and execution of totally perfect swings that no verbal critics can put a dent on.

If you are not one of them but have been observing very closely, you may have a different answer. I will say it depends entirely on how you see it. If you play golf and practise as well consistently, I am pretty certain that your answer is different from them. Same goes for if you have a right instructor that teaches you all the essential basics and you got them right because you did everything you are told to.

I do not believe in any supernatural intervention or godly divination that can make anyone flawless. Tiger Woods is human and he makes mistakes too in particular his recent relationship with his wife which ended in divorce because of affairs with other women over the years.

But let us not take away the fact that he is a natural when it comes to using his dexterity, flexibility and strength in one fluid motion to create his golf swing success records and rewrite history in one tournament after another.

Based on my observation and feedback from other equally experienced golfers locally, I will break down his famous swing into 4 key components as in:

Amazing Body Flexibility

Each time Tiger Woods starts swinging, he will always use his amazing flexibility to reach far back. If you have watched his past PGA Tour videos, his swing tends to reach further than most golfers. This is his own major advantage in executing an excellent killer blow and winning strike in golf. Upon swinging, he keeps his torso in a straight line over his right leg.

Great Velocity

The minute Tiger Woods swings forward, he has already built up greatvelocity in his clubhead. This is the result of him turning his torso swiftly and planting his right leg in advance.

When swinging, he will use all his energy in keeping a straight line over the ball. Aside from his velocity, he uses his body momentum through his shoulders and arms to achieve maximum results.

Hyper Ball Acceleration

One chance is all he needs to drive his clubhead through the ball. Using full force from his hips, shoulders and wrists, Tiger Woods’ execution is with full hyper ball acceleration at approximately 180 miles per hour.

That works out to be 20 mph faster than most average golfers.

Good Follow Through

This is the most critical yet overlooked component.

A follow through refers to the post impact move that enables a full motion to achieve fluidity. What this basically means is that by this time, Tiger Woods allows his clubhead’s momentum to lengthen his follow through. The force he applies to the swing is kept at maximum level from the start of his swing all the way to completing his clubhead rotation.

These are the secrets of Tiger Woods’ Golf Swing Success.

As the sun breaks over the horizon, and a light light falls over the landscape, you are confronted by another beautiful day. All of a sudden, you’re hit with the same encourage you had as a varsity high school student. All you want to do is skip your workout and play all day. Why not skip your way to an energising workout outside, along the hills and valleys you are admiring?

One of the most important benefits of working out outside is that doing so drives you to move on lots of differing types of terrain. This benefit is very robust if you are going to go walking or running. In an outside run, you will be going from a path to grass to the street and then up and back down staircases.

This sundry terrain mimics what you will experience during real life, making it simpler to navigate your way from point A to B with nominal difficulty. If you happen to be by a beach, working out in the sand not only places you on an alternative terrain, but offers a great workout that can’t be duplicated on any other surface. Naturally, while on the sand and other outside terrain, exercising caution and correct methodology will make sure you do not wind up suffering a bad injury.

As well as a change in terrain, exercising outside permits you to breathe air which will bring different threats your way than could be found within. As a result, you ought to be especially conscientious to any health worries which will indicate an allergic reaction. In the event you start sneezing or suffering headaches, a running nose, itchy eyes, or allergic swelling, you could need a bit of help. With a fast trip to an allergist, you can find out what you are allergic to in your outside exercise environment and you can receive suitable medicine to help skirmish against the allergies. But if you happen to feel your allergies are too powerful to handle or would rather not rely on a consultant for your capability to work out outside, you’ll have to adhere to your indoor routine.

One of the advantages of working out beyond the vicinity of a gym is the capability to get some vitamin D and a great tan in the procedure. Sadly, the sun is also one of the risks of taking your workout into the outside. The most clear sun-related danger is sunburns. By wearing suntan lotion and sun shades and reapplying if you are outside for more time than an hour or therefore

Also, since you will be sweating more when you are outside, keeping hydrated is tougher and vital. Before starting your outside workout, be certain to drink masses of water. You must also keep a bottle of water available to drink from pretty often. A good rule of thumb is to drink at least half your bodyweight in fluid ounces daily and that should be more if you have drank caffeine or alcohol that day.

With correct hydration and a good outside workout, you can have the skin color and muscle definition you need, all while breathing in that fresh outdoor air. Exercising outside is more than walking, running, or lifting weights at muscle beach. There are basically a lot of ways in which you can get some exercise without driving to the gymnasium, including the following: riding a bike, playing tag with your kids, trail running, playing on an outside, walking on a trail that includes exercise stations and using the stations, gardening, rock climbing, and back packing.

Robert G Murray asked:

Trainer kites – they’re great for practicing many different exercises that help you learn to kiteboard quicker. But of all the exercises, which should you focus on? Which are the most important? Which, if any, are the ones that you should practice at the very least?

To answer this, it helps to know exactly what most beginners find most challenging while taking lessons. The answer is: when first learning, the most challenging area of kiteboarding is not how to do any of the moves, but instead is how to tie them all together. You might know how to power-stroke your kite, fly it while moving, and park it on the edge of the wind window, but being able to tie them all together is a completely different (and challenging) task. And above all, you have to do it in an unfamiliar environment – facefulls of water, water-starts, and the unfamiliarity of a board all add up to one challenging experience.

While you can make it through this stage through sheer persistence, the best way to make it easier is to simulate as much as possible with your trainer kite beforehand – and the best way to do that is by combining your trainer kite experience with your snowboard. Basically, get out and try snowkiting!

Head out to a frozen lake or snow covered field, and make it your goal to slide around – that’s all. All you want to do is move on your board, using only the power of your kite. To do this, you’ll need to tie everything you know about kiteboarding together. You’ll have to launch your kite, park it, and use it to generate enough power to start moving. Once you are moving, you’ll have to control the board, control the kite, and balance the two properly. If you fall over, great! Get up and try again.

Once you’re moving, you’ll quickly learn what it feels to tie various kite movements together. You’ll get a feel for timing, balance, and kite control. All in all, you’ll get a glimpse of what it should feel like to ride on a board, without having to struggle with a water-start or body drag beforehand. This way, when you do get out on the water and up on your board, you’ll be thinking “Hmmm, this seems familiar…”. It won’t be a completely foreign experience, which will make you learn quicker and easier than any other way possible. Guaranteed.
