Terez Howard asked:

A stationary bike trainer is purposed to be used to convert an outdoor bicycle into a stationary bike. This means you reap all the health benefits of outdoor cycling inside your home.

Outdoor cycling allows you to ride across various terrain, which varies your workout. However, the weather may not always be conducive to biking. This is when a stationary bike trainer can come in handy.

Bike riding promotes necessary cardiovascular activity. Thirty minutes of this type of exercise is needed three days per week. A bicycle complete with several speeds allows you to increase your fitness level by changing the levels of difficulty. So, even though you don’t have hills and valleys to cross and twists and turns to master, you can still experience a diverse workout routine.

Bike riding is easy on your joints. Rather than getting your thirty minutes through walking or running, which may stress your joints, you can ride your bike without that pain and still experience a good work out.

Cycling too strengthens your leg muscles. Once again, varying a bike’s speeds can benefit your leg muscles. Before and after each ride, be sure to thoroughly stretch to avoid cramping.

In addition, cycling strengthens your abdominal muscles. One of the main components of riding a bike includes learning to stay upright. Maintaining that balance toughens up your core. To keep yourself from falling off your bike and further strengthen your core, tighten your abs during your ride.

With a stationary bike trainer, which costs much less than a stationary bike, you can ride your bike inside your house when it isn’t possible to cycle outdoors.
